Cornerstone Research Group
In 1997, Pat Hood embarked on a journey to build a business focused on growing an organization where scientists and engineers could collaboratively create the next generation of technology.
Capitalizing his business with $500, he set out to secure federal awards for engineering and research projects for his start-up, Cornerstone Research Group (CRG). As CRG grew from a one-person operation to a team of over 100 individuals, its essence has remained rooted in those early days of quiet determination, creativity, and teamwork.
First Commonwealth Bank (FCB) partnered with CRG on two larger projects to finance the renovation and development of their 174,000 square foot high-tech advanced-manufacturing facility and a machining center and other capital equipment initiatives.
First Commonwealth Bank’s commitment to delivering results exceeded our expectations and underscored their dedication to our success.
When CRG launched Rushlight Ventures, a sister company dedicated to forming and shepherding new spinoff companies and product lines built on CRG's technologies, they turned to Kerry Stetter and the First Commonwealth team to secure the financing for the new construction of a corporate headquarters that includes a multi-purpose 26,000 square foot office and 6,000 square feet of community space in Miamisburg, Ohio.
“Moreover, the team went above and beyond to secure the best possible terms for our financing. Their commitment to delivering results exceeded our expectations and underscored their dedication to our success,” added McNiel. “The First Commonwealth Bank team’s depth of knowledge and expertise made the entire process seamless and efficient.”
