First Commonwealth Names Greg Sipos as Chief Business Development Officer, Executive Vice President

Indiana, PA (September 15, 2023) – First Commonwealth Bank has announced that Greg Sipos will take the new executive position of Chief Business Development Officer.

In the position, Sipos will have the important role of working across all of the Bank’s regions to introduce partners, cross sell the whole bank, bring in new client names, gather deposits and cultivate merger and acquisition opportunities. First Commonwealth has metro market presence in Cincinnati, Cleveland, Canton and Columbus, Ohio; and Pittsburgh, Harrisburg and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Bank also has a significant presence in many rural Pennsylvania markets, including Sipos’ hometown of Indiana, PA.

Sipos has been promoted through various positions at First Commonwealth over the past 33 years of his tenure with the organization. For the most recent six years, Sipos led the Bank’s Corporate Banking area as Corporate Banking Executive and had a Senior Corporate Banking role for more than 13 years prior to that.

According to Sipos, he’s looking forward to driving business development in today’s dynamic economic environment.

Greg and his wife of more than 30 years, Sandy, live in Indiana, PA, where they enjoy being very active in the community. They have two grown children, Olivia and Caleb.
