First Commonwealth Bank Announces Manager Appointment at Punxsutawney Branch

INDIANA, PA (August 11, 2026) ― First Commonwealth Bank has announced the appointment of a new manager to the Punxsutawney Plaza branch, located 573 W. Mahoning St.

Susan Fillhart, who joined First Commonwealth in 2005, has been promoted from Relationship Banker to the Branch Manager position, effective Aug. 1.

“Susan has been a loyal and dedicated teammate for First Commonwealth for more than two decades,” said Sean Gabler, Financial Solution Network Area Manager for First Commonwealth’s Jefferson, Elk and Clearfield County markets. “This is a great growth opportunity for Susan, and we believe her customer-driven work ethic, experience and knowledge of the Punxy market will make her a great asset to lead the branch.”

Fillhart has spent more than 35 years in the banking industry. A graduate of DuBois Business College, Fillhart and her husband, Jim, have three adult children (eight grandchildren) and reside in Punxsutawney.
