First Commonwealth Insurance Agency Acquires Established Ligonier Firm

INDIANA, PA (September 8, 2026) ― First Commonwealth Financial Corp. subsidiary, First Commonwealth Insurance Agency (FCIA), has completed the acquisition of a Ligonier, Pa., agency that has been in business for nearly three decades.

FCIA has acquired The Pennsylvania Insurance Specialists Inc., an agency operated by the mother-daughter team of Anne and Lexie Petrof, who have provided coverage in the areas of home, auto, life, business and more through a wide range of top-rated carriers for its customers in Pennsylvania and Ohio since 1998.

The Petrofs both joined the FCIA team, effective Sept. 1.  Anne will be a Consumer Insurance Advisor, and Lexie will serve as a Consumer Insurance Account Executive.
