Celebrating Our Recognition by Forbes as a Best Bank in Pennsylvania

Indiana, PA (June 23) – First Commonwealth has been recognized by Forbes as a Best in State Bank for Pennsylvania in the publications recently released listing. First Commonwealth’s inclusion on the list was one of five in Pennsylvania and only a total of 137 banks from across the country were recognized.

Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista and surveyed approximately 31,000 U.S. residents. Participants were asked to name all the banks and credit unions where they have a checking or savings account and evaluate these institutions based on criteria such as customer service, the quality of the financial advice representatives offer and whether fees are transparent and reasonable. They were also asked about the ease of navigating the company website, on-location branch services and the overall level of trust the companies inspired. Additionally, reviews and ratings posted on Google Reviews were evaluated for each bank and credit union.

“We are always tremendously appreciative and humbled by this type of recognition," stated First Commonwealth Financial Corporation President and CEO T. Michael Price. "We work hard, but we don’t do it for awards; we do it to improve the financial lives of our customers. And we know we always have room to get better. We’re so grateful to the customers who recognized our efforts and helped us achieve a spot on this exclusive listing of some truly great banking institutions,” Price offered.

This follows up First Commonwealths’ recognition earlier this year by Forbes in its listing of World’s Best Banks. The full article is available on Forbes website.
