Welcoming Two New Members to Our Pittsburgh Corporate Banking Team

Indiana, PA (December 16, 2022) – First Commonwealth Bank has recently hired Jon Kowalski and Frank Bovina to the corporate banking team in the Pittsburgh region. Kowalski is joining First Commonwealth as a Corporate Banking Group Manager and Bovina as a Corporate Banking Team Lead. Both will be based out of First Commonwealth’s downtown Pittsburgh office in the Union Trust Building.

Jon Kowalski

Kowalski has nearly two decades of experience in the financial arena, specializing in corporate banking and credit administration with NorthSide Bank and FNB. He most recently served as the Western PA Market Executive/Commercial & Industrial Group Manager at S&T Bank. Jon is a graduate of Allegheny College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. He resides in Pittsburgh with his wife, Jackie; and three children, Logan, Haley and Camryn. Jon is also a graduate of Leadership Pittsburgh’s Leadership Development Initiative Program, a member of the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation’s Children’s Trust and active in numerous other organizations throughout western Pennsylvania.

Frank Bovina

Bovina has more than 12 years of commercial banking experience focusing on commercial & industrial banking customers. His history includes positions with Huntington, Bank of America and S&T Bank, where he served most recently as a Senior Relationship Manger. Frank is a Cum Laude graduate of Washington & Jefferson College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and focus on Economics, where he was also a four-year letterman and team captain of the football team. He is an active licensed CPA in the state of Pennsylvania and is also a member of the Exit Planning Institute of Pittsburgh-which serves to add value to local business owners and financial partners. Frank resides in Peters Township with his wife, Kelsie; son, Frank; and their dog, Maximo.
