First Commonwealth names Clyde Owens as Community Development Loan Originator for Central Ohio
Columbus, OH (November 5, 2021) –First Commonwealth Bank has announced that Clyde Owens has recently been hired as the Community Development Loan Originator. Clyde joins First Commonwealth with more than 12 years of banking experience at PNC and Woodforest National Banks. He will cover the bank’s three Ohio regions, with a strong emphasis on Central Ohio.
As Community Development Loan Originator, Clyde will be working with low to moderate income families work to build wealth and start the process of becoming homeowners. Clyde will work with other members of the First Commonwealth Mortgage team to help serve historically underserved populations and help restore and create healthy, vibrant communities.

Clyde graduated from Cleveland State University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration Degree. He serves as a board member on the East Columbus Development Corporation and is also an advisory board member with the Ohio African American Chamber of Commerce. Clyde resides in Columbus with his wife and two sons.
