Business Document Requirements

Business Documentation Needed

*One required unless stated otherwise

Associations

● Association Resolution

● Certification Letter

● Meeting Minutes (Must include intent to open account and signers)

● Certificate of Good Standing (Can only be used if signers listed)

Corporations

● Articles of Incorporation

● Business License

● Corporate Charter

● Certificate of Good Standing (can only be used with officers listed)

Estates

● Death Certificate (always required)

-AND-

One of the following docs:

● Short Certificate (PA)

● Letters of Testamentary OR Letters of Administration (OH)

Non-Profits

● 501c3 Certification

● Letter from National Organization for Scouts

● Certification Letter

● Meeting Minutes (Must include intent to open account and signers)

● Certificate of Good Standing (Can only be used if signers listed)

Limited Liability Corporations

● Articles of Organization

● LLC Operating Agreement

● Certificate of Existence (can only be used with members listed)

● Business License

Limited or General Partnerships

● Partnership Agreement

● Business License

● Certificate of Existence (can only be used with partners listed)

Public Funds

● Public Entity Agreement

● Resolution

● Meeting Minutes (Must include intent to open account and signers)

Sole Proprietorship

● Fictitious Name Agreement (can only be used if sole proprietor is listed)

● Certificate of Good Standing

● Business License

● Certificate of Sole Prop Status

Trusts

● Trust Agreement
