Leslie Machefski started her career in banking at 18 years old with a regional bank through a high school cooperative office education course. She attended high school for half of a day and then to work at the bank the remainder of the day. This meant she needed the job in order to graduate, and was offered a full-time position after graduation.
I really enjoyed what I did, and took several banking courses to grow with my career.
Leslie has had just about every role in a community office, from part-time to full-time teller, working in the returns department, as an assistant manager and now manager.
I have always been with the same bank, even though I have experienced mergers and acquisitions, bringing me to 30 years in June of 2022. My career has been so fulfilling. I’ve had the pleasure of watching my customers through the years and years of life changes and am honored to be a small part of that.
My passion has always been to help the financial lives of our customers. You just create bonds and connections with customers and being able to help in their financial lives is so meaningful. I’m thankful for this career and thankful that I can make a difference for my customers.
