Sharing the Warmth of the Season

Once there was a little boy named Bailey. On a cold winter day, he built a Snowman. The wind started to blow, and the trees shivered with cold. So did the Snowman. So Bailey ran back out from his house and shared his special red scarf with the Snowman. They've been best friends ever since, and they've inspired us to keep sharing warmth.

Our Dollar for Dollar Match up to $100,000

Throughout the month of November, we raised donations for community action agencies across Pennsylvania and Ohio through our dollar-for-dollar match campaign up to $100,000.1 Thanks to your generosity, we met our goal one day early. We'll be sharing photos on social media as we share your donations with the agencies.

Community action agencies (CAAs) meet the needs of low income individuals in their communities. Built in a way that allows them to respond to the unique needs of their community, no two CAAs are alike, but they do share common goals. The programs offer help and encourage children and youth, support the working poor, provide aid in times of crisis, sustain and honor the elderly, and strengthen the family and the community. Practically speaking, this means utility and rent assistance, food resources, clothing, neighborhood revitalization, job training and more.
