Promotional Rate

If your daily balance is between $0.01 and $4,999.99, you will receive the interest rate of 7.70% on the entire balance, with a 7.98% APY. The interest rate for any portion of the daily balance exceeding $4,999.99 up to and less than $100,000 will earn 2.96%. The APY will range from 7.98% to 3.25% depending on the balance in the account. Any portion of the balance $100,000 and above will not earn interest. All rates and Annual Percentage Yields (APYs) are accurate as of 6/19/2025. Rate and APY may change at any time. Fees may reduce earnings on the account. $500 minimum deposit to open account.

When opening an account, the applicant must certify the following statements are correct: They are over 18 years of age; They are a resident of the State of Ohio; The funds in their Ohio Homebuyer Plus Account shall be used exclusively for eligible program home purchase costs; They shall hold not more than one Ohio Homebuyer Plus Account at any one time except as allowed in the Ohio Homebuyer Plus Participation Statement; They have reviewed the Ohio Homebuyer Plus Participation Statement and will comply with all its provisions and requirements; They have not knowingly made any false statements or provided false information.
