In September 2023, a promising opportunity surfaced through our bank partners Shannon Spisak and Julia Vitale, involving multiple departments within the bank. Collaborating with them, as well as partners Jamie Straub, Michael Thomas, and Loyd Johnson we crafted a proposal showcasing the diverse capabilities of each team at FCB.

As we prepared for a meeting with the franchise business owner, an unexpected turn of events unfolded. The incumbent medical insurance carrier informed them of discontinuing their service on the renewal date. This sudden development accelerated the need for a true consultative partner. Within a week of strategic discussions and negotiations, the business owner chose us as their new employee benefits consultants.

Swift negotiations with the carrier and our new client led to plan design changes that not only increased employee participation but also persuaded the medical carrier to reinstate their contract for 2024. Beyond this, we identified and implemented several operational efficiencies and technology-based integrations, enhancing overall business operations.
