Brad T. Anderson

Brad joined First Commonwealth Insurance Agency in February 2023 as a Senior Business Consultant for Employee Benefits. He is responsible for the development and management of clients’ comprehensive benefit strategies that align corporate goals with employee needs.

Brad has over 14 years of experience working directly with executive management and human resource departments in financial consulting, business development and benefits administration. He has experience as a Commercial Lender managing an extensive Commercial Banking portfolio in central and western Pennsylvania. During his career as a benefits advisor, Brad managed two self-funded associations of over 45 financial institutions which totaled over 6,000 enrolled employees and generated over a combined $100,000,000 in retained surplus. He was also tasked with delivering educational and industry news at executive meetings and regional conferences.

Outside of work, Brad enjoys donating his time to volunteer leadership roles ranging from past Board President and Treasurer of Habitat for Humanity Blair County, Workplace Wellness committee member with the Blair County Chamber of Commerce and current Fundraising Chair Board Member with the Allegheny County Branch YMCA. Additionally, Brad enjoys traveling, hiking and cooking with his fiancé.

Brad earned his Business Degree from the John L. Grove College of Business at Shippensburg University. Prior to becoming a City of Pittsburgh resident in 2020, Brad was selected as a ‘Top 20 Under 40’ professional by the Blair County Chamber of Commerce. He holds a Pennsylvania Life and Health License along with the designation of Group Benefits Disability Specialist (GBDS).
