First Commonwealth Promotes Longtime Marketing and Communications Leader

INDIANA, PA (October 28, 2025) — First Commonwealth Bank has announced the promotion of its Marketing and Communications manager as part of succession-planning and realignment due to the recent retirement announcement of bank President and Chief Revenue Office Jane Grebenc (gra BENZ).

Kris Levan, who has served as First Commonwealth’s Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications for the past 10 years, has been named Chief Marketing and Experience Officer.  In her new role, she will lead the Bank’s Call Center, Branch Operations and Learning and Development areas, in addition to the Marketing and Communication areas.

Levan joined First Commonwealth in 2010 as an Assistant Vice President in the bank’s marketing department and in June 2015 was promoted to Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications.

Prior to First Commonwealth, Levan served 12 years as the marketing leader for an Indiana- based physical therapy company which, through M&A activity, grew to be the nation’s second-largest physical therapy practice. 

Within the community, Levan is the Vice President of the YMCA of Indiana County board of directors and chairs the Board Governance Committee. She also serves on the board of directors for the Indiana County Chamber of Commerce and is a part of the Marketing and Membership Committee.

A graduate of Indiana Univ. of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in journalism, Levan lives in Indiana, PA with her husband, Jason, and their daughters, Emma and Sarah.
