First Commonwealth Names New Middle Market Team Leader in Central Ohio Region

April 16,2025 COLUMBUS, OH ― First Commonwealth Bank has announced a new team leader to its Central Ohio Region Team.

Jeff Powell, who brings more than 20 years of banking experience to First Commonwealth, was named the Middle Market team leader for the bank’s Central Ohio region.  He will be located in First Commonwealth’s Lewis Center office.

Powell career has spanned more than two decades and has included position at several regional and community financial institutions in and around Columbus. A large portion of his experience has focused on Employee Stock Ownership Programs (ESOP), startups, leading Large Corporate syndications, investment banking, and his passion of family-owned businesses.

Powell earned his MBA from Franklin University and a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University. He and his wife, Jen, live in Gahanna. They have two college-aged daughters.
