First Commonwealth Bank Receives Top Ranking in SBA Loans for Pittsburgh Region, Moves Into Top 5 in Ohio

INDIANA, PA (October 23, 2025) ― First Commonwealth Bank was ranked first in the Pittsburgh region for total dollar lending, according to the latest Small Business Association (SBA) Rankings for the SBA fiscal year ending September 30, 2025.

The bank took over the top position, moving up from #2 in 2024, and ranked 5th in the entire state of Pennsylvania.  First Commonwealth also moved into the top five in the Ohio rankings, improving one spot from 6 (in 2024) to fifth.  It climbed significantly to #3 in Columbus (which includes Cincinnati) from #9 spot in 2024. In Cleveland, the bank ranked ninth (down from #8 in 2024).

  • Pennsylvania
    • #1 in the Pittsburgh district (up from #2 in 2024)
    • #5 in Pennsylvania
  • Ohio
    • #3 in the Columbus district, includes Cincinnati region (up from #9 in 2024)
    • #9 in the Cleveland district (down from #8 in 2024)
    • #5 in Ohio
