At First Commonwealth Bank, New Accounts Support Local Businesses

Indiana, PA (June 24)–First Commonwealth Bank is giving away chances to win $150 gift cards to local businesses to anyone who opens a new personal or business checking account this summer. The program began June 20 and runs through the month of July.

“Often times banks, including First Commonwealth Bank, will give away gifts or incentives associated with new account offers. We thought this was an appropriate time to do something different, and instead of a standard prize, we’ll invite winners of the new account sweepstakes to select a gift card to a local business they’d like to support,” offered Joe Culos, Executive Vice President and Financial Solutions Leader with First Commonwealth Bank. “In today’s unique economic climate, we want to take every opportunity to invest in the small businesses that make our communities great,” Culos added.“

Anyone who opens a First Commonwealth personal or business checking account during the promotion period will be entered to win one of 60 $150 gift cards. Ten winners will be selected each week for the promotion’s six week duration. Full terms and conditions are available.

Checking accounts can be opened online with your smartphone or laptop, on the phone by calling 844-711-BANK or by making an appointment to open in person at a local community office. Winners will be announced on First Commonwealth Bank’s Facebook page.
