Contacting Us

The Engagement Center is where you can contact our dedicated customer service specialists. Simply call us at 800.711.BANK (2265). We also have a team dedicated to opening accounts or applying for loans by phone. You can reach them directly at 844.711.BANK (2265).

We are available weekdays from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on weekends from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Account Changes

The vast majority of account numbers will remain the same. If your account number(s) is changing, you were mailed a separate letter with your new account information and new checks will be shipped to you free of charge. If you have any questions about your account number, please call us at 800.711.BANK (2265).

Unless you receive a letter regarding a new account number and actions you will need to take, you will not need to update any of your service providers with checking account information. If you have your debit card connected for automatic payments or deposits, you will have to provide your First Commonwealth information to the service providers.

Our team has worked to match your current CenterBank accounts with a First Commonwealth account that has similar features and benefits. If at any time you’d like to review additional options or change your accounts, you can visit your local community office or call us at 800.711.BANK (2265).

If your CenterBank checking account is linked to a line of credit, checking, money market or savings account for overdraft protection, your protection will continue without interruption. If you already have a Hometown Savings Account, you are eligible for free Overdraft Protection Transfers. If you have or upgrade to a Hometown Checking Account Premium account, you are eligible for free overdraft protection from any linked First Commonwealth account. 

No. Unless your account number changed, you can use up your current supply of CenterBank checks without interruption. All future check re-orders will receive First Commonwealth branded checks. You can order checks at your local office, by calling the Engagement Center or through Online Banking. If your account number(s) is changing, you were mailed a separate letter with your new account information and new checks will be shipped to you free of charge.

No. Your CenterBank cards can be used through 8:00 a.m. on Monday, June 9. Your new First Commonwealth Bank cards will automatically be mailed on May 21. Start using your new First Commonwealth cards at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, June 9.

To reset your debit card PIN at any time, simply call 866.392.9952 and follow the instructions. If you've forgotten your PIN, you can visit your local office or call us at 800.711.BANK (2265) to request a PIN mailer which will arrive in 7-10 business days.

Starting Monday, June 9, you can use any First Commonwealth Bank ATM or any of the AllpointTM or Freedom AllianceTM network ATMs free of charge. Refer to the listing on page 14 for nearby fee-free ATMs or visit fcbanking.com/welcome. If you need to use a non-First Commonwealth ATM that isn’t part of the AllpointTM and Freedom AllianceTM networks, a Foreign ATM Fee of $3.00 per transaction may apply for some account types. Additional fees may be charged by the ATM provider.

Your CenterBank deposit account transaction history from January 1, 2025 and all loan transaction history will transfer to First Commonwealth. You can contact us if you need deposit transaction history or statements prior to January 1.

Your BillPay history will not transfer over. If you need any history, please be sure to print or save it prior to Friday, June 6.

Office Information

You can rest assured that when you visit your favorite local office, you’ll be greeted by many of the same staff members that you’ve grown to know and trust over the years. 

We’re also excited to introduce CenterBank customers to our Engagement Center (customer call center) following conversion. The Engagement Center team can be reached by calling 800.711.BANK (2265) weekdays from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and on weekends from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

All office hours will remain the same with the exception of the early closures at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 6 and all day Saturday, June 7. This is when we will be completing our changeover and the offices will be closed.
