Christopher Snyder

Christopher “Chris” Snyder joined First Commonwealth Insurance Agency in July 2021 with 16 years of expertise within the commercial insurance industry. Chris started his career as an Underwriter and Field Representative and progressed into a Sales Representative and then Marketing & Expansion Manager later in his career. More recently he made a transition into the retail insurance world where he utilizes his service-forward approach to educate his clients to become better insurance buyers. He specializes in partnering with independent business owners and stakeholders to develop higher level risk management strategies to ensure longevity with his clients.

Chris is a resident Major Lines licensed agent in Ohio. He also has completed other professional designations such as Certified Insurance Counselor and Associate Risk Management all while keeping up with new developments within the field and giving his clients the best available programs to use.

Chris is a graduate of The Ohio State University (OSU); earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Ecology. During his time there, he was also Treasurer for the OSU Financial Planning Club. He met his wife at OSU and they now live in Wyoming, Ohio, with their two children and two dogs. The Snyder’s stay busy throughout the local community with their children’s sports, various community building efforts and by taking in local sporting events and festivals as they come around.

Chris looks forward to working with the First Commonwealth team and fostering meaningful relationships with all stakeholders from Cincinnati to Central Ohio and beyond.
