Rules: Entries are due by close of business on March 28, 2014 at 5PM. Winners will be contacted via e-mail and mail by May 2, 2014. One entry per person. Entries will only be accepted by high school seniors participating in an athletic extracurricular activity. The high school must be located within the following counties: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Bedford, Blair, Butler, Cambria, Clearfield, Elk, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Jefferson, Lawrence, Somerset, Washington and Westmoreland. Entries can be submitted online, or to any First Commonwealth bank location, or fax 724-463-5702, or via postal mail: Attn: First Commonwealth Marketing Department, 601 Philadelphia Street, Indiana, PA 15701. Winners will be chosen by a committee of First Commonwealth executives and will be judged based on creativity, originality and overall story. All decisions will be final. First Commonwealth will have the rights to all stories submitted for promotional purposes. A total of $20,000 will be awarded in scholarship prizes: 20 scholarships in the amount of $1,000 will be awarded to individual winners. The scholarship winnings will be payable to the educational establishment the student is attending in their name, unless student, parent or guardian request a different payment method. Certain IRS rules and restrictions apply. May be tax reportable. Children of First Commonwealth and Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) office employees, directors and immediate families are not eligible to participate. No purchase or transaction necessary.
