As a long-time Financial Advisor with over 20 years of professional experience, William (Bill) Buckel thoroughly enjoys assisting clients reach their goals of accumulating and preserving wealth. Prior to joining the team at First Commonwealth Advisors, Bill spent 14 years as a Financial Advisor with Huntington Bank in New Castle. The added benefit of having many years of experience is the overall perspective he offers in helping clients weather the ups and downs of the investment markets, and Bill enjoys working with clients of all ages and all walks of life in helping them understand how the investment markets work.
Through his many years of experience, Bill understands that there is no such thing as a ‘cookie-cutter’ approach – so when working with his clients, he takes the time to sit down with them one-on-one to uncover their long– and short-term goals and objectives. Only then can he begin constructing an individualized financial plan – one that is tailored for each specific client and their unique situation. Bill also believes that ongoing client contact is the key to a successful financial plan – and he remains an active partner with his clients and makes adjustments to their financial plan as their situation changes over time.
Mr. Buckel is a fully licensed Financial Advisor and holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses; he is also a fully licensed insurance professional. A lifelong resident of New Castle, Bill Buckel attended the New Castle Business College where he received an Associate’s Degree in Business.
In his free time, Bill enjoys tinkering with his classic 1966 Chevy Chevelle; he also enjoys putting his car on display at various Classic Car Cruises throughout the region.
