Robert D. Bodnar
Robert D. Bodnar’s role as Financial Advisor for First Commonwealth represents the natural evolution since 1993, of results-focused experience in financial consulting, investment strategy, and senior level operational management with high-impact financial institutions. Using the momentum gained from his prior experience, Robert takes tailored financial strategies to the next level by working toward long-term security for individuals and families, vital resources for burgeoning businesses, and lasting solutions for retirement planning. Robert’s focus on personal empowerment rather than ‘off-the-shelf’ solutions has positioned him as a go-to consultant for diversified financial needs.
Mr. Bodnar earned his Bachelor of Business Administration at California University of Pennsylvania; he also holds FINRA Series 4, 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses as well as Life, Accident and Health licenses. He is registered as an Investment Advisor.
Prior to joining First Commonwealth, Robert was the Managing Director for nine branches of a Pittsburgh based community bank. With ongoing training programs for branch management, Robert created a top-to-bottom competitive service culture with exceptional communications management and increased product expertise.
Robert also served as Associate Vice President for a high-end Pittsburgh investment firm and full service wire house, where he provided collaborative strategies for operational oversight and quality service execution inclusive of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, retirement planning, and IPOs.
Robert continues to develop his reputation through clear articulation of individually developed financial plans. His ability to coordinate and enhance the talent of the financial professionals in his sphere of influence provides a sustainable asset that complements his personal performance and elevates companywide service quality.
