United Way of Westmoreland County
United Way of Westmoreland County supports and manages a variety of programs which are focused on three areas of need; building strong neighborhoods, helping children and youth succeed, and supporting vulnerable and aging populations. We invest our resources toward solving critical community problems while gaining measurable results. Thanks to the generosity of thousands of donors and volunteers we are able serve over 50,000 people and help keep our community safe and strong for all.
We have been clients of First Commonwealth since 1968 and utilize services such as business checking and business savings. First Commonwealth also provides us with merchant services and our company cards. Through the benefits of ACH, we save time and money and we can more efficiently make our monthly payments to our partner agencies. We have gotten to know the employees at our local branches and they are consistently willing to go the extra mile to lend a hand. Our questions are always answered in a timely and helpful fashion.
Over time, First Commonwealth has grown, and so has the United Way. We are true partners in the community. First Commonwealth and the United Way have forged a lasting relationship due to the generosity of their employees and the dedication of our volunteers. We are a true team during our annual fundraising campaigns. With First Commonwealth's assistance, we are able to meet our goals and truly make a difference.
