Community Commitment

First Commonwealth continues to reach out to local communities in western and central Pennsylvania.

First Commonwealth provides financial support through contributions and sponsorships to local community programs which enhance the quality of life of its citizens. Our local offices make decisions about events and organizations in their neighborhoods as they understand the unique needs in their areas.

We also encourage our employees to participate in making their communities better places to live and work by volunteering their time and talents to those worthwhile community programs.

We also participate in the Education Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program which provides support to those organizations dedicated to the education of our youth. For more information regarding the EITC program please visit here.

An Evening of Celebration and Inspiration with Miss America 2012

From child of a prison inmate to Miss America 2012, Laura Kaeppeler understands the struggles of women and their families, and supports our mission to empower women in their journey to economic independence.

You are invited to join Dress for Success for a very special Evening of Celebration and Inspiration featuring Miss America 2012. Miss America will pay tribute to the women of Dress for Success Pittsburgh who have triumphed over adversity and redefined their futures.
