Community Commitment

First Commonwealth continues to reach out to local communities in western and central Pennsylvania.

First Commonwealth provides financial support through contributions and sponsorships to local community programs which enhance the quality of life of its citizens. Our local offices make decisions about events and organizations in their neighborhoods as they understand the unique needs in their areas.

We also encourage our employees to participate in making their communities better places to live and work by volunteering their time and talents to those worthwhile community programs.

We also participate in the Education Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program which provides support to those organizations dedicated to the education of our youth. For more information regarding the EITC program please visit here.

Join together for healthier babies at the March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction. Taste the best dishes from Pittsburgh’s top chefs as you bid on unique sports, dining and travel experiences. The best part? It all benefits the health of babies.

March of Dimes is bringing together top local chefs showcasing their culinary masterpieces, samplings of fine wines and beers, and a lively auction featuring on-of-a-kind packages and you’ve got a perfect recipe for the Pittsburgh Signature Chefs Auction.

The Basic Ingredients

Twenty of Pittsburgh’s premier restaurants and chefs will present their signature offerings in a tasting size during a reception. Guests are invited to bid on a variety of packages during silent and live auctions. Packages may include fine dining, hotel/resort stays, priceless experiences and much more. Signature Chefs Auctions are held in more than 200 cities nationwide and over 100,000 corporate and social community leaders attend.
