First Commonwealth continues to reach out to local communities in western and central Pennsylvania.

First Commonwealth provides financial support through contributions and sponsorships to local community programs which enhance the quality of life of its citizens. Our local offices make decisions about events and organizations in their neighborhoods as they understand the unique needs in their areas.

We also encourage our employees to participate in making their communities better places to live and work by volunteering their time and talents to those worthwhile community programs.

We also participate in the Education Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program which provides support to those organizations dedicated to the education of our youth. For more information regarding the EITC program please visit here.

Get Lively with the Arts at IUP

Along with the new academic year comes a variety of entertainment, courtesy of The Lively Arts at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

On the calendar this year are shows such as the sing along "Sound of Music", Renee Fleming, "Shrek the Musical" and "Hair."

About The Lively Arts
The Lively Arts offers the campus and community nearly 200 events annually, encompassing all performing and visual arts events presented by the College of Fine Arts and its departments, including Art, Music, and Theater and Dance, as well as the University Museum and Kipp Gallery, and a performing artist series, Ovations!. ArtsPath is the extensive arts-in-education outreach program of the Lively Arts.
