Community Commitment
First Commonwealth continues to reach out to local communities in western and central Pennsylvania.
First Commonwealth provides financial support through contributions and sponsorships to local community programs which enhance the quality of life of its citizens. Our local offices make decisions about events and organizations in their neighborhoods as they understand the unique needs in their areas.
We also encourage our employees to participate in making their communities better places to live and work by volunteering their time and talents to those worthwhile community programs.
We also participate in the Education Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program which provides support to those organizations dedicated to the education of our youth. For more information regarding the EITC program please visit here.

Fort Ligonier Days, a very popular 3-day festival, commemorates the Battle of Fort Ligonier, a key engagement of the French and Indian War, fought on October 12, 1758. Free outdoor entertainment includes something for. Approximately 150 craft booths in 4 locations are linked by shuttle bus service.

Race begins at 9:00 a.m.
Race is chip timed, Water and refreshments provided at the finish line. Proceeds will benefit the Indiana Regional Medical Center M. Dorcas Clark, MD, Women’s Imaging Center and advanced mammography care to all women in the area it serves.

Race starts at 9:30 a.m., rain or shine.
Registration fee is $20 for forms postmarked on or before Oct. 5, 2012; $25 for those postmarked after Oct. 5.
If participants present to donate blood or platelets at a Red Cross blood drive or donor center from Sept. 1 through Oct. 5, the Red Cross will waive its entry fee for those helping two causes at once. Day-of registrations will be accepted.
