Rosalie has had a long and promising career with First Commonwealth which started at (then Dale Bank) as a clerk in Customer Accounting. She then moved to our Downtown Johnstown Office as Client Service Representative, to our University Office as Assistant. Office Manager, our Windber Office as Office Manager and most recently was promoted to a Business Banker. When asked which of our First Commonwealth Core Values she feels has helped her advance her career with us, Rosalie said, "Initiative. Every manager I have worked for has encouraged me to further my education and supported my decisions. I have also taken the initiative to enroll in AIB courses, as well as used our Tuition Assistance program to complete continuing education classes. I’ve worked to receive my Life, Accident and Health insurance license and always believed I could do better and be successful at whatever position I was working at the time." "What I like most about working for First Commonwealth are the employees I have known over the course of my employment and the close friendships I have developed." Through her work, Rosalie has also enjoyed hearing the interesting stories of local entrepreneurs and their vision to start their business and make it successful! Like many First Commonwealth employees, Rosalie proudly serves the towns she works in and lives in through her active community service, which includes: Membership in the WIN (Women's Information Network) Committee with the Cambria County Chamber of Commerce; Chair of Business Relations committee of Windber Hospital; Kettle chair for Salvation Army in Windber, and also Service Unit in Windber; Member of Somerset Rotary Club; Member of Conemaugh Auxiliary; treasurer of F.A.M.e. Biofuel board; member of Windber Relay for Life and member of Somerset Economic Development Council. |

Kia has progressed through her career with First Commonwealth Bank over the last 10 years, starting in our Bloomfield Office as a part time Teller Services Representative before quickly moving into the position full time. Kia advanced to a Teller Service Representative 2 and then to her current role for the last five years, as a Teller Services Supervisor in our Grant/Smithfield St. Office. When asked which of our First Commonwealth Core Values she feels has helped her advance her career, Kia replied, "Of all of the Core Values, the one that has allowed me to advance within FCB is initiative. I’ve had the pleasure of working with a bunch of awesome people who were willing to share their knowledge with me. I’ve always been willing to learn and apply whenever needed." "The thing I like most about (working at) FCB is the culture! We have a bunch of great people, who are friendly and caring. It is easy to come to work and provide genuine First Choice service to clients when you enjoy the people you work with." Kia also knows the value of developing herself professionally outside of work, where she can be found at Point Park University completing her third semester of her Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership. |
